Hello. My name is Brie Wells. I write. I write stories for people who enjoy the magic that connects us. Stories of love, loss, betrayal, and beauty. I love to write stories that are as complex as we are.
MY STORY
In 2008, when the economy tanked and my job was downsized, I started writing daily. I figured it was time to settle down and do the thing I had been told to do since I was in the third grade: write. But, I was too frightened or insecure or confused so I put it on the back burner and left it there. But fate has a way of twisting and turning. So, here I am after many years, a writer.
I write magical realism stories. Stories with genies, spirits, ghosts, and magic. If you like any of those things check out my blog on Wix.
Also, I must admit, I love to watch crime shows on Investigation ID. Fascinating.
A Precious Truth
I’ve been working on this latest release for quite some time now, and can’t wait for you to read it. This book first started out as a side project, but soon turned into a fascinating undertaking which I couldn’t stop thinking about or writing. I am currently searching for an agent to love this book as much as I do.
